About the consultant
Steve Crain works with churches to develop sustainable, theologically grounded music ministries that form people, not just fill rosters. His consultancy focuses on gift stewardship. leadership development and systems that support long-term faithfulness and health.
Steve has been in music ministry since his teens and in vocational music ministry since 1998. He was Music Minister at St Barnabas Anglican Church Broadway Sydney until 2025. Steve currently stewards his gifts as a volunteer at The Bridge Church Macquarie Park Sydney (where his wife Jodi serves as an Assistant Pastor), playing special events (such as CMS Summer School Band, Oxygen Conference, Jazz Church Manly Jazz Festival, video recordings for EQUIP Conference) and in his mentoring, consultancy and training service.
